Old Bell

This is the catering service area of the M4 Highway Barlerfield Rest Area. This is a large area, where many fast food light meals and cafes are located, there are Burger King and fish and chips, as well as pasta and sandwiches. Every restaurant has a queue, but it doesn&#39;t take long to queue. The catering service area is a circular, with a dining area in the middle, a lot of seats, and very clean.

Mother and son lunch to celebrate his 18 th birthday.  The experience was lovely, the staff were lovely .

Once we found Le Cafe, which is tucked away inside a hotel, we thought it was quite a find. Away from crowds and noise and plenty of seating. The waiting staff were helpful but sadly, my cheese and caramelised shallot toasted sandwich was cold and the toast was quite hard. It&#39;s a useful venue to meet in the Reading area and I would probably choose something else next time although the vegetarian options weren&#39;t extensive. Nice staff, shame about the cold food.
